Wang Hailin
1989, 13(3): 1-6.
Abstract:
This paper gives the basic principle of the moire deflectometry for mapping phase objects, discusses the sensitivity of this method, presents a simple and effective method for eliminating the imperfection of optical elements and show some experimental results.

An augmented matrix for relatively misaligned optical systems
Qiu Yue, Cai Bangwei
1989, 13(3): 7-12.
Abstract:
An augmented 4×4 matrix for relatively misaligned optical systems is derived and analysed using coordinate transformation and matrix method. It has been shown that the augmented 4×4 matrix for optical systems which are misaligned but haven't relative misalignment can be simply obtained from the general expression.

Change of structures and properties of Cr-C alloyed layer with laser scanning speeds
Zhang Siyu, Zheng Kequan, Tian Lianghong
1989, 13(3): 13-16.
Abstract:
This article presents our experimental procedure for the surface alloying of the 45 steel by a GW CO2 laser with various scanning speeds. After laser alloying treatment, the alloyed layer has been synthetically analysed on the distribution of elements in the alloyed layer, microstructure, distribution of hardness and wear resistance of the alloyed layer. The relation between the structures, properties of alloyed layer and laser scanning speeds has been presented.
High-speed photograph of Q-switching laser induced breakdown on solid surface
Lu Jian, Ni Xiaowu, Yan Dapeng
1989, 13(3): 17-21.
Abstract:
By using optical path delaying set-up, the instantaneous process that a Q-switching YAG laser induces breakdown on solid surface is studied. Time-resolved shadowgrams and Mach-Zehnder interferograms of the initiation(within 200ns) of the shock-wave and plasma which is produced in this process are obtained firstly.plasma refractivity and electron density on the "shock-wave front are computed.
High-power laser beam nonlinear propagation in the atmosphere
Le Shixiao, Hu Zhiping, Fang Yuncai
1989, 13(3): 22-26.
Abstract:
This paper discusses the nonlinear effect and synthetic effect. In the SRS and the transmissivity for various wavelengthes, some computational results are given.
Laser warning receiver
Jin Mei
1989, 13(3): 27-34.
Abstract:
We analyzed the typical parameters of the military laser systems. We started with a list of requirements that the ideal laser warning recever should meet, and evaluated the performance of the realistic laser warning receiver developmend by the west.

Anisotropic index of the optical thin films
Zhang Wei, Fan Janying
1989, 13(3): 35-39.
Abstract:
According to the electro-magnefic field theory, the relation between the index of the optical thin film and the propagating direction of the light ray is given in this paper from the real structure of the optical thin film. The anisotropic indices of the thin films with high and low indices for various packing density are computed, and the computing results are discussed and analysed.

In vitro angioplasty of excimer laser
Hu Xuejin, Zhao Zhensheng, Wang wei, Wang Daowen, Yu Shu, Wu Tiangen, Lu Zaiyin
1989, 13(3): 40-44.
Abstract:
Thrombus and aorta wall are radiated by excimer laser at 308 nm.It is showed that the excimer laser can be used safely and affectively in angioplasty without thermal injury of artery wall.

The optical property of BaF2 film implanted by F+ ion
Zeng Lun, Zhou Ming, Zao Xinan, Wen Xuedong
1989, 13(3): 50-52.
Abstract:
The experiment results of the effect of ion implantation of F+ on the optical property of BaF2 film were reported. The change of transparent spectrum induced by ion implantation was observed, and it can be eliminated by annealing at certain temperature.
The measurement of the thickness of transparent medium with method of scattered-spot
Xiao Minghai
1989, 13(3): 52-56.
Abstract:
In the paper the method is presented that measures the thickness of transparent medium by means of technology of the scattered laser-spot. The relationship between the thickness of test sample and the laser-spot replacement is turned out, the error of the measurement is discussed and the experimental results are compared with that of the mechanical method.

The simplification of the rate equations to a train of strong pulses through TWA
Lü Hongchang, Chen Jianguo
1989, 13(3): 62-64.
Abstract:
Applying the rate equations to a train of strong pulses through a travelling-wave semiconductor laser amplifier(TWA) a simple first-order differential equation has been derived to determine the output pulse or the singal gain of the TWA. Meanwhile, the carrier densities before any one pulse arrives at the gain medium and after the pulse leaves the TWA can easily be obtained.
