The design and adjustment of a miniaturized all solidstate circuit RF CO2 waveguide laser power supply is discussed in detail.Maximal output power of the power supply is 160 W,with frequency of 120 MHz in continuous wave mode and modulated frequency is 0 to 10 kHz,with rectangular wave width continually adjustable.

The phase modulation properties of an optical phaselocked loop(OPLL) type opto-electrical feedback semiconductor laser (LD) are presented.The oscillation in the curves of phase modulation is studied specially.The reasons and the methods for the suppression of the oscillation are given.

Making use of a XeCl laser operating at 308nm,with 50~100ns pulsewidth and 20MW peak power output,203 spots of white pig skin were irradiated in five dosage groups from 38.8 to 134.3mJ/cm2.The erythema rates were 11.8~98.0% relevantly.By iterated weighted linear regression Bliss method analysis a MRD50 73.03mJ/cm2 was obtained.

The polarization characteristics of 2.7110μm,2.7299μm,and 2.7950μm laser emissions oscillated simultaneously in 10 at% Er3+ ion doped a axis YAlO3 laser have been investigated experimentally.It has been found that the 2.7110μm and 2.7950μm laser emissions are polarized with its E vector parallel to crystallo,gra-phic b axis.While 2.7299 μm laser emission is partially polarized with the long axis of ellipse parallel to crystallographic c axis.The output characteristics of these laser emissions are also given in this paper.

The forms and functions of the modulating grids for the evaporating particle beam during the evaporation are discussed.The relationship among the evaporating rate,the modulating coefficient and the thickness of the depositing film is analysesed at the same time.An applied example of stabilizing the evaporating rate with the modulating grid is given.Some points to be noted in practice is also pointed out.
