A new simple structure of an injection locked unstable resonator Q switched Nd:YAG laser is described,and the mode match between the first and the second resonator is studied.A method to realize the match of Gaussian beam and sphere wave is proposed.The experiment results and conclusion are given.

Abstract:
The amplitude and phase distributions of the optical field in a laser resonator(stripped resonator)are numerically calculated on IBM-PC based on the Frensnel-Kirchhoff diffracted integral equation,and the results are displayed as a dynamic process of the transverse mode building-up by a three-dimensional graphics expression.The numerical calculation results and the graphs are in agreement with the results given by Fox and Li.Thus,a new CAD for laser resonator is presented.

Abstract:
In this paper,the modes of vibration of Bronze Chime Bells are described by time-average rainbow holographic interferomatry.We have analysed and compared effect of several parameters on monochrometicity and colour-blur of reconstruction image in optical system.The experiment and analysis show that the major advantage of the method is that the image can be reconstructed with a whiteright source in any case and the speckle noise is decreased.The conclusion of this work is also suitable for other 3-D vibration object.

The surface structure of the low alloying steel CrWMn after laser solidification,with a 2kW CO2 laser,was examined by optical microscopy,and scanning electron microscopy.Experimental results showed that the macroscopical solidification structure of the steel surface was heterogeneous.The structure was ① a mixture of the white structure and the black structure in the edge of the melt zone (B zone),and ② a mixture of the center of the melt zone(A zone) structure and the B zone structure.The white structure was residual austenite(HV0.2300kgf/mm2),but the black structure was tempered martensite and residual austenite(HV0.2620kgf/mm2).Finally,it is pointed out that the phenomenon is brought obout by the nature of convection movement.

A preferable set for stabilizing the intermediate frequencies of optical heterodyne in optical coherent communications system is developed.A high stability for intermediate frequencies of optical heterodyne may be realized by this set,and stabilizing intermediate frequencies can be adjusted freely.In the coherent optical fiber communication system adopting 1.52μm He Ne lasers,the tracking stabilization of optical heterodyne intermediate frequencies may be covered in the range of full TV channel when this set is used.Relative to the optical frequency,the frequency stability is better than 10-9.

An experimental method for measuring the intensity distribution of a TE CW CO2 laser beam in far-field by two dimensional scanning is discribed.The reliability and practicability of the measurment system have been discursed in detial.The measurements of a TE CW CO2 laser with 2 kW output are given.

A method based on changing the depositing angle constinously in the range of 0°~180°has been proposed,by which the typical column structure of the vapor depositing coating is destroied,therefore the depositing films have the structure as that of the bulk materials.The growthing formula are given in this thesis.And the microstructure of the thin fihns in this case has simulately computer by computer.At the same time,the mechanism of the better characters due to this structure has been analysed.
