Abstract:
The selection of parameters for mini TEA CO2 laser is analysed. The experimental results for mini ceramic sealed-off TEA CO2 laser are given. The size of the device is φ62×190mm, the output energy of TEA00 mode 20mJ, pulse width 50ns, the operation life 106 times, the shelf life is longer than 10 years. The experiment in which the laser is mounted in a CO2 laser rangefinder has been carried out over one year. The experiment shows the perfermance of the laser is reliable and stable.

Abstract:
Two stages of stable controlling systems are utilized to inhibit the YAG laser power fluctuation. The frist stage uses back feed of light from laser to control pump supply source so as to make laser self-balanced. The second stage uses electrooptic crystal modulating device further to stabilize laser power. Stable laser radiation power has been obtained with stabilization much better than 0.3% per hour.

Abstract:
The effect of the mirror on the polarized light is briefly described. The difficulty that the half-wave dealy voltage in a crystal sheet can not be measured by the single optical-path method in the presence of birefringence phenomenon, which can be solved by using the reflective method.

Abstract:
In this paper, the expressions of the far-field divergence angles of the elliptical Gaussian beam through a optical system are deduced according to its propagation properties. The collimation characteristics of elliptical Gaussian beam are studied. The place of optical system where the collimating effect should be optimal is demonstrated. And a comparison between elliptical and circular Gaussian beam is made.

Abstract:
A comparison of the effect of CO2 laser operation and routine operative method was made. Result show that it yield satisfactory results by the CO2 laser on the clinical processes, treatment. But it is very important to avoid operative complications as the infection of incision, hemorrhage, vessel and nerve injury.
