Abstract
An experiential model of random noise is setup to simulate the ultrafast fluorescence decay for researching how the experiment parameters influence the measurement of time resolved fluorescence spectra.It is found that the SNR can be improved extremely by increasing the gating time and precisi on can be improved by decreasing the delaying time.So the feeble fluorescence signal can be measured and the time resolving degree can be enhanced.The ratio between each decay component's initial intensity varies with different gating time.The relationship between them has been found and the actual value can be deduced from measurement result.The experiment results of GaP testifies our model and the simulation conclusion.This method is successfully used to measure the time resolved fluorescence spectra of LN:Er whose fluorescence is weak.
