Focusing properties of Laguerre-Gaussian beams

The relative intensity excess and focal shift of focused Laguerre-Gaussian beams in the unapertured case have been derived by using Collins diffraction integral. Detailed numerical caculations have been Performed to illustrate the focusing properties of apertured Laguerre-Gaussian beams.
