Abstract:
In this paper,it is pointed out that the name of "co-cavity and multipass laser" is incorrect,all the oscillating cavities are not in cocavity,surface lattice light sources seperated in space from multipass laser are not time serial and not coherent each other,in addition,there is a strong fluctuation between two pulses seperated in time and space and produced with passive dye Q-switch and trigger synchronous delay.At the same time,in this paper,it is considered that the key problems of time serial high speed framing have not solved successfully in the "serial pulsed laser instantaneous holography instrument" and quantitative measurement can not be made with it.

Abstract:
This paper reports that Ti,Mg:LiNbO3 crystal grown by Czochralski method has been used for two-pass intracavity fre-quency doubling of 1.064μm radiation of a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser for the first time to our knowledge.The energy conversion efficiency of 61% has been obtained.

Abstract:
A 3-channel RF CO2 laser array is introduced.By use of the ridge coupled technique,35 watt coherent laser output of this RF CO2 laser array has been obtained with the efficiency approximate to 10%.The far-field intensity profile has also been measured.

A new type of CO2 laser device,TE01 mode CO2 wave-guide laser,whose CW output is more than 5W in 400mm total length,has been reported.Based on this an experimental system of hollow cylindrical metallic waveguide has been set up.For φ1.2mm×1150mm Ni waveguide the transnission losses are loss than 2.27dB/m.

Based on Hugens-Fresnel diffraction integral,the trans-formation formula that describes the propagation of anisotropic Gaus-sian-Schell model beams through optical systems has been derived.Further,the relation between their propagation characteristics in the free-space and the parameters of their sources is discussed.

In this paper,experimental results of intensity fluctua-tion(scintillation) and dancing(angle-of-arrival fluctuation and isoplanatic angle)of laser beam at Dawanshan Islands are reported.The results are comparied with the data of turbulent intensity measu-red simulteneously.It is indicated that the turbulence in marine atmosphere of the South China Sea during late autumn and early winter is rather violent,and it's effect on laser propagation is remarkable.

A new type of continuously adjustable optical attenuator based on the principle of polarization beam splitting is described.The results of both theoretical analyses and experimental measurement show that the device has advantages of large dynamic range,polarization-independent attenuation properties and no change in polarization state and space distribution of the beam.
