  • A new type of continuously adjustable optical attenuator based on the principle of polarization beam splitting is described.The results of both theoretical analyses and experimental measurement show that the device has advantages of large dynamic range,polarization-independent attenuation properties and no change in polarization state and space distribution of the beam.
