  • A method of lidar for ocean exploration was presented,where microwave signal was modulated on laser pulses and the modulated optical pluses were transmitted into water.At the receiver,the modulated optical carrier was examined from a frequency filter to render target detection.Compared with other methods which could restrain the backscattering signal,characteristics and current study situation of modulated lidar on optical carrier for ocean exploration were overviewed.
