Abstract
Based on the general Huygens-Fresnel diffraction integral formula,the focusing property of Gaussian beams through a spherical aberrant lens is studied.Numerical illustrative examples are given.It is shown that if the waist width of the incident Gaussian beams is relatively small,our results reduce to those of references1 and 2.
