Analysis of temperature field and thermal stress field in quartz glass heated by laser beams
In order to investigate the effects of glass heated by CO2 laser and the difference between using TEM00 and TEM11 to preheat quartz glass,the temperature field and thermal stress field of quartz glass were obtained through numerical computation.The results show that it is better to use TEM11 laser beam to preheat quartz glass than to use TEM00 laser beam.
