Research of an atom iodine laser

  • In order to study the large energy pulse atom iodine laser,a set of xenon light pumped photolytic iodine laser with C3F7I as working substance was built up and the relative experiment was performanced.About 700mJ of pulse laser energy was obtained.The working principle and technical routine of this kind of laser was introduced and experimental resultswere analyzed.The experimental results show that this kind of laser has the characters of simple structure and large energy output capability and is suitable for the application in industry and technology.
