Study on vacuum laser cladding

  • The laser cladding is a useful technique.But the application of laser cladding suffers from the serious defects of holes,crack and etc.This paper introduces the vacuum laser cladding and shows a vacuum laser cladding chamber.Comparison with air laser cladding(ALC),the width and depth of the clad layer in vacuum laser cladding is smaller,and the microstructure of the cladding layer is obviously better.
