  • The theoretical analysis of thermal effects in corner-bumped slab solid-state lasers is presented.A new model of the heat distribution is proposed.Based on this model,the distribution of temperature and stress is calculated.The optical distortion induced by the temperature and stress is also analyzed.These results may provide the fundamental theory for the stable design of corner-bumped all solid-state lasers.
