  • The laser and optics properties of several kinds of laser glass have been discussed.A new method is pointed out to increase the output energy of power-limited laser that is high gain glass and low nonlinear refractive index coefficient n2 glass used in an amplifier together.The simulated calculation by light propagation procedure shows that the configuration,using phosphate glass in the forepart of amplifier and fluorophosphate glass in the rear-end,can reduce the restriction on the output capability from B integral.The largest output energy has a increase of 10~20 percent.
