Design of beam sampling grating and study on its diffraction action

Abstract
The beam sampling grating(BSG) used in the inertial confinement fusion system is designed.By means of optical holographic theory,achromatic optical system recording holographic BSG mask is designed.Its aberration is analyzed with ZEMAX.Meantime,the diffraction efficiency of the BSG is discussed based on rigorous coupled-wave theory.The results show:the groove depth is more important for diffraction efficiency than the duty cycle,which is useful for fabrication of the BSG.
