  • Light energy transfering between two plastic fiber dual-taper by using sphere,cylinder and rectangle cavity (all called medium cavity) is reported.The emitting efficiency of fiber dual-taper is measured.The coupling efficiency of medium cavity relative to its receiving surface area and distance between taper and cavity are also measured.This devices can be used to develop a new type optical add-drop multiplexer.
