Laser beam quality factor M2 and its measurement

The quality factor of a laser beam often is characterized by parameter M2.In our measurement system,we employed a CCD sensor to detect the beam profiles at different location in beam propagation direction,then utilized the data identification to calculate factor M2.This paper give out the measurement results and tolerance limits.
