  • A YAG slab oscillator and two-stage amplifier system has been built up.The free running and Q-switching experiments,using a novel YAG:Cr4+ colour centre crystal,have been performed,and have shown the advantage of the slab MOPA system capable of providing good beam quality due to its low thermal effects.
