  • Using the coupled mode theory,we study the reflection properties of the fiber grating with a reasonable assumption of the refraction index distribution.Relationships between the reflection properties and relevant fiber parameters are discussed.The basis of theory to fabricuting fiber gratings are deduced with phase masks,and some valuable conclusions and formulas are obtained.
