  • A numerical method for analyzing of the chirping characteristics of a traveling wave semiconductor optical amplifier is developed.Including the factors of the finite facet reflectivities and the spontaneous emission.The theoretical research show that introduce of these factors will reduce the amplitude of nonlinear frequency chirping imposed on amplified light pulse.
