  • In this paper,based on Mie scattering and Fraunhofer diffraction theory,we utilize the numerical calculation to compare and analyze the Mie scattering and Fraunhofer diffraction of large particles and point out that at a proper range,Fraunhofer diffraction of large particles can approximately replace Mie scattering.

Abstract: In this paper,based on Mie scattering and Fraunhofer diffraction theory,we utilize the numerical calculation to compare and analyze the Mie scattering and Fraunhofer diffraction of large particles and point out that at a proper range,Fraunhofer diffraction of large particles can approximately replace Mie scattering.
