Coupling diode laser into a fibre

  • The beam quality of diode laser is measured. and the collecting,collimating,shaping,focusing and coupling into a fibre of the dirge laser beam is experimentally investigated. Using microcylindrical lens and fibre top processing techniques,a coupling efficiency of 85.7% has been achived forcoupling one channel of the Siemens AG 5W dirge bar into a 200μm core diameter fibre. At the meantime,the Positioning sensitivites of the shaping system and the fibre are also measured.
