  • This paper introduce the various methods of realizing the laser protection by employing nonlinear optics principles, which have been developed recent years.The advantages of these new methods and disadvantages of the conventional linear optics methods for laser protection are analyzed. The developing tendeiicy of laser protection technology is alsodiscussed and set the basic demands on the nonlinear optical materials for laser protection mirrors.

Abstract: This paper introduce the various methods of realizing the laser protection by employing nonlinear optics principles, which have been developed recent years.The advantages of these new methods and disadvantages of the conventional linear optics methods for laser protection are analyzed.
