  • The effects of spectral broadenings of laser materials on laser frequency pulling are compared,and the spectra and the characteristics of output from an ultrashort cavity dye laser (SCDL) at multi-longitudinal mode (LM) states were measured and observed experimentally.The instantaneous cavity length of SCDL can be determined by measuring the curves of the LM spacing vs the middle wavelength of the adjacent LM.
