  • An general expressions are derived for the short-term and long-term average optical beam spreads of laser beams, which were reflected by plane mirror, propagating in a weakly inhomogeneous medium. The effects of reflection of the beam spreads have been discussed The results shown the reflacted amplification ratio of the shortterm beam spreads is little more than the amplification ratio of the long-term beam spreads.The amplification coefficient of the long-term beam spreads is 1.52 and the short-term spreads is little more than 1.5 of focused laser beam.
