Abstract:
In our RF-excited 1kW level fast axial flow CO2 laser,8 laser discharge tubes are driven by a single RF power source through a 50Ωtransmission line and a π-type matching networks,With this arrangement tatal 15kW continuous wave RF power has been effectively and uniformly coupled to discharge plasma within 8 tubes,The key task of this technique is RF impedance matching.

Abstract:
The method of design, measuring,preparation and cooling technigues,which were used for the high power CO2 reflector,have been discussed.The influence of the different substrate materials on the reflector has been compared.The result of applications demonstrated that the reflectance of the reflector is higher,the hardness of the coating film is larger and the heat deformation is smaller than those of the rdflectors which adopt copper as substrates and are coated by gold film. In addition,the dirty of this kind reflector can be cleaned by the organic solvent.

Abstract:
The study of basic principle and the theoretical analysis of the transmitted binary rectangular phase gratings for spatial shaping of Gaussian beam are presented in this paper.Practically,it is important to make the binary rectangular gratings.So the technical specifications of the gratings are summarized,and the experimental works and the experimental results are analyzed in details.Technical indices for the transmitted binary rectangular phase grating:width of the grating groove:1.5mm;depth of the grating groove:0.55μm;effective size of the grating:15mm;transmitivity:90%;wavelength coverage:0.55μm~0.65μm;damage threshold:10W on average.Shaping parameters:power efficiency:75%;energy efficiency: 90%;diffraction distance:10m;radial fluctuation of beam intensity after shaping:9.3%.

According to the analysis on output wavelength of FEL,this paper point out that a one of main research fields of miniaturization of FEL is micro-wiggler.Based on the study of present situation of the small-period wiggler.a new current wiggler is presented.The wiggler has a same function as a permanent-magnet wiggler,its period cab be also regulated automatically,Therefore,the current wiggler can be used widely.Finally,this paper point out the problems of further research.

Abstract:
In this paper,the research how to measure automatically the image point homogeneity of a high density matrix LED display is summarized.Based on the measuring method of integrating sphere-photomultiple tube(IS-PMT),the device of automatical measuring of image point homogeneity of a matrix LED display has been developed.The device adopts the MCS-51 microcomputer on chip to realize the functions of automatical measurement and to have a good interface between user and computer for measuring all kinds of high density matrix LED displays.After correcting the measuring errors,the precision of the measurement equipment is up to 1.7%.

As a result of self-phase modulation(SPM),the frequency chirp is imposed on optical pulses when the optical pulses are amplified in gain-saturated traveling-wave semiconductor laser amplifiers,The proper impressed chirp results in not only canceling the primary chirp of input pulses,but also possibly compressing pulses with a simple group velocity delay line. In this paper,the shape of the amplified output pulses and impressed frequency chirp are calculated for different input pulses,and the effect on chirp compensation of using optical amplifier is analyzed.

This paper discusses the principle,device selection and implementation of an all fiber optical holographic system.By using an all fiber optical Michelson interferometer phase stabilization holographic configuration,an all fiber holographic system has been established,with it the holograms with clear reconstructed image can be taken,and the system can be used in a great variety of experimental configurations. The results proved the potential of the fiber optical holographic technology in practieal applications, and lay a foundation for further research.

Abstract:
In recent years,the modification of plasma-sprayed ceramic coatings by laser technique has been widely investigated and made a great progress at home and abroad.It will broaden the application fields of plasma-sprayed ceramic coatings such as in automobile engines and chemical industry to an extreme extent.This paper summarizes the latest research achievements at home and abroad from following aspects:laser treatment of plasma-sprayed cerarnic coatings to densify the ceramic coatings,to enhance the homogeneity of microstructure and phase structures,to increase the hardness,wear/corrosion/thermal-shock resistance.Finally,the problems remained and the developing trends have been pointed out in this field.
