Field distribution of two kinds of polarized light in 1-D photonic crystal

摘要: 为了研究1维光子晶体中光强的分布,采用特征矩阵法推导出TM波在1维光子晶体中光强的分布公式,进行了TM波和TE波在1维光子晶体中光强分布的理论分析。结果表明,在禁带范围内,随着TM波和TE波在1维光子晶体中传播深度的增加,其光强迅速衰减;在导带范围内,随着TM波和TE波在1维光子晶体中传播深度的增加,其光强不会衰减。这一结果对1维光子晶体中TM波和TE波的禁带和导带的形成的认识是有帮助的。Abstract: In order to study the field distribution of 1-D photonic crystal, the formula of the light intensity distribution of TM wave in 1-D photonic crystal was deduced based on the characteristic matrix and the intensity of TM wave and TE wave in 1-D photonic crystal was analyzed. The results show that the light intensity of TM wave and TE wave decreases with the increase of propagation depth in forbidden band of 1-D photonic crystal. The light intensity of TM wave and TE wave does not decrease with the increase of propagation depth in conductive band of 1-D photonic crystal. The study is helpful for the understanding of forbidden band and conductive band in TM wave and TE wave.
