LD抽运Nd:YAG/KTP腔内倍频16W连续波绿光激光器

LD-pumped Nd:AG/KTP intra-cavity double frequency 16W CW green laser

  • 摘要: 为了得到一台大功率连续波绿光激光器,采用9个20W的高功率半导体激光器侧面抽运Nd:YAG棒,倍频晶体选用Ⅱ类相位匹配的KTP晶体,设计了三镜折叠腔结构,使得放置倍频晶体位置处基频光的光腰稍大,从而尽量避免KTP晶体的"灰线效应",通过调节角度的办法来补偿倍频晶体热效应导致的相位失配,得到在抽运电流为19.5A时,连续波绿光输出可达16W,倍频转换效率为40%的结果。实验结果表明,Nd:YAG/KTP是产生大功率连续绿光的较佳组合。

     

    Abstract: In order to get high power CW green output,the laser pumped by 9×20W high power laser diode arrays with a type Ⅱ phase matched KTP crystal was developed.Properly enlarging the light waist where KTP crystal was laid to avoid "gray tracks effect".At last,16W CW green laser output and 40% second-harmonic genration conversion efficiency were achieved at pumping current of 19.5A,with compensating phase mismatch by angle departure.The results show that Nd:YAG/KTP are good choice for high power CW green output.
