Cr4+:YAG passively Q-switched extra-cavity third-harmonic laser

摘要: 理论上分析了影响腔外三倍频输出效率的各因素,并对Cr4+:YAG小信号透过率、输出镜透过率、聚焦透镜焦距、非线性晶体尺寸的优化选取以及各元件的合理放置进行了讨论.在最大抽运功率为17W的情况下,获得了336mW的355nm准连续紫外激光输出,重复频率为28kHz,脉宽12ns,单脉冲能量为12J,峰值功率为1kW,总的光-光转换效率为2%.

Abstract: The factors attributed to the efficiency of the extra-cavity third-harmonic generation are analyzied.The maxium output power of 355nm UV laser is 330mW with the incident pumped power 17W after optimizing the small singal transmittance of the Cr4+:YAG,the transmittance of the output coupler at 1064nm,the focal length of the focusing lens,the nonlinear crystal and aligning the optical elements reasonably.The repetition rates,pusle width,single pulse energy of the pulsed 355nm laser is 28kHz,12ns,12J respectively.The overall light to light efficiency is 2%.-
