Abstract: In order to discuss the application of laser active jam technology for laser chaff,a numerical calculating method of light scattering section with the tool of MATLAB software is presented.The influence of polarization characteristic of the incidence light on the light scattering section is a nalyzed.The conclusion that the degree of polarization should be taken into cons ideration in laser active jam has been drawn.
