The study of the relation between circularly polarized light’s refractive rate and wavelength

摘要: 从旋光理论出发,得出了晶体中左、右旋圆偏振光折射率随波长的变化关系。结果表明,对石英来说,波长在500nm以内,左、右旋圆偏振光折射率下降很快;当波长大于500nm后,左、右旋圆偏振光折射率下降比较平缓;当波长大于2000nm后,左、右旋圆偏振光折射率差趋近于0。Abstract: The relations between circularly polarized light's refractive rate and wavelength are obtained through the theory of rotation.The refractive rate of left and right circularly polarized light in the quartz falls down rapidly under the wavelength of 500nm;the refractive rate of left and right circularly polarized light in the quartz falls down slowly above the wavelength of 500nm;the refractive rate's difference of right and left circularly polarized light approaches zero above the wavelength of 2000nm.
