The coupling of Gaussian beam between fibers

摘要: 高斯光束在光纤之间的耦合方式有多种,常用的一种是准直聚焦的透镜耦合系统。为确定耦合系统的参数,首先分析单透镜对高斯光束的变换,从变换后束腰半径的表达式中看出它受到多个变量的影响,通过作图找到了束腰半径的变化规律。然后把这一规律应用于准直聚焦透镜组成的耦合系统中,得到了确定耦合系统参数的一般方法。最后给出了一个光纤间耦合的实例。Abstract: There are several means for Gaussian beam to couple between optical fibers.One of these is collimating-focusing system using lenses.To decide the parameters of the coupling system, the Gaussian beam's change through a single lens is studied.It indicates that the waist width passing through the lens is decided by several variables,which is illustrated.By analyzing the illustration, the general principle to select the parameters is found.At last, the conclusion is used to resolve an instance.
