Abstract: A PCs cluster of broadband optical bus interconnect network is introduced in this paper.The broadband multiplayer free-space optical data bus and VCSEL/MSM-CMOS integrate device are used to realize the interconnection of four computers in this system.The special communication adapter is used to realize the conversion between HIPPI (high performance parallel interface) protocol and PCI (peripheral component interface) protocol.The capacity of the optical interconnection network is 60Gbit/s which is fit for high speed communication between the computers.
