光纤暗孤子相互作用

Interaction between two dark solitons in optical fibers

  • 摘要: 用变分原理导出了非线性Schrodinger方程两个暗孤子间的相互作用,它作为孤子间距Δ和初位相差θ的函数,随Δ的增大而指数地衰减。当两个孤子间初位相差θπ/2时相互排斥,θπ/2时相互吸引,θ=π/2时几乎不存在相互作用。解析与数值计算结果相符。验证了与已有理论的一致有效性。

     

    Abstract: The interaction between two dark solitons of nonlinear Schrodinger equation is derived with the variational principle approach. The interaction as a function of the soliton's separation Δ and their initial relative phase θ shows that the interaction decreased exponentially as Δ raise, and that two solitons repulse with each other when θπ/2.Analysis conforms to numerical calculation and it has also proved the validity of the existed theory.
