模切辊激光表面淬火的研究

Investigation of laser surface hardening for mould-cutting roller

  • 摘要: 用连续波CO2激光束对50#钢模切辊进行了激光表面淬火试验,研究了淬火层的显微组织及硬度分布.结果表明,50#钢模切辊经激光表面淬火后,硬化层组织由细小的位错马氏体及少量的残余奥氏体组成;模切辊变形很小,且表面硬度高,整体硬度分布较为均匀,能够达到技术要求.采用激光淬火技术对50#钢模切辊进行表面强化是可行的.

     

    Abstract: The laser surface hardening for mould-cutting roller of 50 carbon steel is carried out using continuous wave CO2 laser beam.The microstructure observation and hardness distribution testing in the cross-section of the hardened layer are performed.The results indicate that the microstructure of the hardened layer of mould-cutting roller quenched consists of the fine dislocated lath martensite and a small quantity of residual austenite.After laser surface hardening,the mould-cutting roller possesses of small contraction distortion,high hardness,and uniform distribution of hardness.And hence using laser surface hardening process to modify the surface of mould-cutting roller of 50 carbon steel is practicable.
