不同形状介质腔与塑料光纤双锥的活动耦合特性

Adjustable coupling performance of plastic fiber dual-taper and different shape medium cavity

  • 摘要: 研究了利用球形体、圆柱体、长方体(统称介质腔)实现光能在两根塑料光纤双锥之间的耦合。测量了光纤双锥的发射效率和介质腔耦合效率与其接收表面积、锥腔间距之间的关系。该器件能进一步发展为一种新型的光分插复用器。

     

    Abstract: Light energy transfering between two plastic fiber dual-taper by using sphere,cylinder and rectangle cavity (all called medium cavity) is reported.The emitting efficiency of fiber dual-taper is measured.The coupling efficiency of medium cavity relative to its receiving surface area and distance between taper and cavity are also measured.This devices can be used to develop a new type optical add-drop multiplexer.
