The growth of LiYF4 crystal in CF4 atmosphere

摘要: 报道了在Ar与CF4混合气氛中成功地生成出高质量的Nd:LiYF4晶体,并比较了在单一Ar气氛和Ar与CF4混合气氛中生长的LiYF4晶体的差别。X射线衍射表明,在单一Ar气氛中产生的不纯物质主要是氟氧化合物,Ar与CF4混合气氛中,此种不纯物质能够被有效地消除。

Abstract: LiYF4 crystal with high quality was successfully grown in CF4 atmosphere.The difference between the crystals grown in Ar and CF4 atmosphere is reported.X-ray indicates that the impurity formed in Ar growth atmosphere is mainly oxyfluoride,the impurity can be effectively eliminated in CF4 atmosphere.
