Abstract: According to the plasma whose electron density and gain is distributed as parabolid,the propagation and amplification of capillary discharge X-ray within the cylindrical plasma are studied with the geometrical optics approximation by using a simplified model of gain region.Under the parabolic approximation,the relationship between the output intensity and deflection angle as well as the angle and length of refraction are given.
