Abstract: The characteristics of back reflected laser from an infrared system are investigated in theory and through experiment.The mechanism of back reflection,reflected laser signal characteristics,direction of reflected laser and the application of the reflected laser are discussed.An experiment set up is designed to test the theoretical analysis.
