激光放大介质温度场和热应力场的数值模拟
A numerical simulation for temperature and thermal stress distribution in Nd:YAG amplifiers

摘要: 提出了一种可用于预测高功率脉冲泵浦下Nd:YAG板状激光放大介质热响应的非均匀内热源模型,利用有限元方法,并考虑材料导热系数和热膨胀系数的温度相关性,对不同冷却条件下的激光放大介质的温度分布和热应力分布进行了数值模拟和比较,在此基础上,提出了一种能对激光放大介质实施有效冷却的技术方案。Abstract: A 3D transient thermal model with inhomogeneous heat generation is presented to predicate the thermal response in high power/pulse face pumped slab amplifiers.Based on finite element(FE) analysis,the temperature and thermal stress distribution in Nd:YAG slab amplifiers for four different cooling schemes is derived and compared.According to the simulation results,an effective cooling method is put forward.
