摘要: 从标准的非线性薛定谔方程出发,导出了光束宽度参量所满足的方程,并用物理上较为直观简洁的势函数分析方法研究了一维高斯光束在克尔介质中的传输行为,得到了光束可能的3种传输行为,较为成功地说明了数值计算的结果所预测的基本特征。

Abstract: Based on the standard nonlinear Schrodinger equation,a differential equation describing the evolution of Gaussian beams travelling inside a Kerr medium has been deduced.With the aid of potential function,the propagation properties of the beams have been studied.The results reveal that the evolution of the beams may take three forms, which are confirmed by numerical calculations.
