Abstract: The characteristics of a diffuse-reflecting pump cavity were analyzed.This paper pointed out,for these applications of the high laser beam quality and high efficiency of lasers,the diffuse-reflective cavity is a good selection.In experimental study,a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser with a diffuse-reflecting pumping cavity was utilized to obtain high energy with high efficiency.
