Abstract: The paper gives a brief introduction of the situation of researches on time optical solitons and spatial optical solitons,and pays particular attention to introduce the new progress of the researches on bright spatial optical solitons and dark spatial optical solitons.At last,it analyses the next research orientation on optical solitons.
