激光投影显示中散斑均化问题的研究

Speckle homogenization in laser projecion display

  • 摘要: 为了解决激光投影显示中因光源相干性所引起的激光散斑而导致投影图像的亮度不均、清晰度下降的问题,采用将激光引入振动的多模光纤的方法,实现了输出的激光模场在各种模式间发生高频跳动的功能,从而在多模光纤输出端获得传输光信号均匀化、消相干的输出效果。结果表明,投影图像的散斑对比度明显降低,达到人眼难于分辨的4%以下。

     

    Abstract: In order to solve the problem of uneven brightness and decreased sharpness of the projected image caused by the laser speckle rising from the coherence of the light source in the laser projection display,introducing laser into a vibrating multimode optical fiber,the output laser mode field beats between the various modes at high frequency,and homogenized and incoherent results were obtained.The results show that the speckle contrast ratio of the projected image is significantly reduced to 4% or less,which the human eye is difficult to distinguish.
