  • A detecting system for real time study on the damage of optical materials is described.The system is comprised of a Nomarski interferometer and a digital camera.With the system connected with a computer,the detecting and recording process can be automatically realized.Furthermore,the design of former Nomarski interferometer is optimized so that the size of the system is reduced and the detection resolution is improved.
