A rapid-scanning and real-time autocorrelator incorporating a rotating mirror

  • Received Date: 1990-01-17
  • A rapid-scanning autocorrelator introducing a periodic linear time delay to a train of picosecond and femtosecond laser pulses is described. The second order intensity autocorrelation of the pulse train is then continuously displayed on an oscilloscope to realize rapid monitoring and measurement of the laser pulses in real-time.

A rapid-scanning and real-time autocorrelator incorporating a rotating mirror

  • 1. Laser Optics and Spectroscopy Institute, Zhongshan University

Abstract: A rapid-scanning autocorrelator introducing a periodic linear time delay to a train of picosecond and femtosecond laser pulses is described. The second order intensity autocorrelation of the pulse train is then continuously displayed on an oscilloscope to realize rapid monitoring and measurement of the laser pulses in real-time.
