Abstract:
A new concept and a new means of selecting traverse mode with a hollow waveguide tube in cavity are advanced and investigated.without compressing oscilating mode volume,the laser with the compound cavity can achieve the high power density output with single traverse mode.Therefore,the broad opllication prospects of the new technique are shown by theoretical analysis and experiment results.

Abstract:
A new two-step rainbow holograph technology with no actual slit is proposed.Arranging the experimental optical system properly and translating the master plate,we can synthesize the multsplit and obtain the rainbow holograph.The translation range of the master plate and the experimental results are presented.

Abstract:
The seidel third-order aberration coefficients of a thick lens imaging system are derived analytically with the aid of Lie algebra and optical symplectic map.We have shown that the expressions obtained in this paper are general and applicable to analyzing aberrations of the conventional optical imaging systems such as thin lens,concave(or convex)-planar lens and spherical lens etc.By a suitable choice of geometrical parameters.

Abstract:
The main experimental results of a cryogenic IR CW NaCl(OH-):(F2+)H color center laser have been reported in this paper. The output power of the color center laser is greater than 250mW with 4.5W pump power and 34.5mW auxiliary light.Its peak wavelength is at 1.57μm.The auxiliary light is required to maintain fadeless laser operation.

We report LD pumped CW TEM00Nd:YAG laser.It operates at 1.064μm.The spectral linewidth is smaller than 0.03nm,the thresold of pumping power is less than 6.8mW,the output power and slope efficiency are larger than 10.5mw and 8% respectively.

The response characteristics of a fast response photomultiplier to Gaussion light pulse are analysed by means of its pulse response function.The analysis shows that the duration τp of input pulse is the fanction of PM time constant τ0 and the duration τt of observed output pulse.So it is necessary to use the formula τp=√τt2-τ02 to deduct the effect of PM time constant.In this paper,the using condition and limit of the formula are give.

With the fine grading cylindrical lenses,we have developed a laser warning appratus with the horizontal angular resolution as high as 3°,reported in this paper.The device has the ability of the anti-disturbance of non-laser radiation and of the automatical measurement.The experiments show that the device well meet sthe user's requirements.

As a effective means,we present the one-filling method of the pulpitis laser medicine.The medicine procedure is(1)perform local anesthesia,(2) uncover the roof of the affected pulp,(3)cauterize the affected pulp using Nd:YAP laser beam,(4)fill up.The onecure rate is 88% in 100 cases treated with the method.
