Research and development of the optical model of human eyes

  • Human eyes are the important sense organ that can gain the outside information by the light stimulation primarily.In fact,human eyes are complex optical systems including many interfaces.Each interface has the complex geometric properties and optical characteristics.The optical model of human eyes can be established with the data obtained by different kinds of tools,such as optical measurements or anatomical methods.It can be used to study the optical properties of each interface,which is of great significance in the field of ophthalmology and optometry.The optical structures and properties of the several representative eye models were summarized.And the trend of development of the optical model of human eye,i.e.,individuation and precision was presented.
