  • The effects of laser mode on the quality of Fe-based alloy laser cladding layers are studied using a multimode CO2 laser and a low order mode CO2 laser respectively.Results show that the appearances of different zones of the multimode laser cladding layers are flatter than those of the low order mode laser cladding layers,especially in the melted zone.The difference of the laser mode also influences the microstructure and the hardness of the cladding layers to some extent.
